Call a student to the board in a way the whole class reads as fair. Paste the list once and the tool remembers who has been called, leaning towards whoever has waited longest, while nobody can be sure they are safe today.

In the classroom

Paste the list from a spreadsheet

Copy the name column from your register and paste it in. A whole table works too: the tool reads the name and group columns, and you check the preview before saving.

A sweep for the homework check

Homework check mode shows the seating plan and sweeps across it: a seat can only go once the beam has passed it, until a few are left and the name fills the screen. Set any length from 5 seconds to 2 minutes, and skip whenever you like. Each turn ends with a different reveal: a spotlight, a velvet curtain, a stamping robot, a gold safe or a red carpet.

Fair, and still a surprise

The name is settled the moment you press CALL; the sweep is only how it is announced. The slider sets how much a long wait counts, and a student called earlier today can still come up again.

Quick calls for a group, with a question

Quick call shows the names at once and can call up to 6 students together. Prepare questions for each class, formulas included, and each call takes the next one. Turn on thinking time for a countdown, and press Correct when a student gets it right.

Special shows and moving seats

Now and then the sweep is interrupted by a power cut, a meteor shower or a UFO, with a SPECIAL SHOW badge so the class knows it is only part of the show. Press Move seats, then drag or tap two students, so the map matches your room.

A summary at the end of the lesson

The summary shows how often each student was called, how often they answered correctly, and who has not been called this lesson. It only counts and never gives a mark. Press Undo if you clicked by mistake.
