Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

• Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive the email address, display name and profile picture of that Google account. MathCopy never receives or stores your Google password.
• Device information: an identifier and name for each computer, and when it signed in and was last used, so we can apply the per-account computer limit.
• Plan and order information: the plans you bought, how long they last, your remaining pages, and your order history. MathCopy does not store your card or bank details.
• Documents you choose to send: when you use PDF to Word, the file you select is processed to produce the Word file and is only kept temporarily, for as long as needed to complete the conversion.
• Website usage data: cookies that keep you signed in and remember your language, and aggregated visit statistics.
• Technical logs: IP address and time of access to the service, used for security and abuse prevention.

2. Data we do not collect

• Your clipboard and the formulas you copy: processed right on your computer.
• The content of your Word documents.
• Passwords: MathCopy has no passwords of its own and never receives your Google password.

3. How we use it

• Signing you in and recognizing your account on the website and in the app.
• Applying the plans you bought, the free trial, and the per-account computer limit.
• Providing the features you ask for, such as PDF to Word.
• Helping you when you contact support.
• Detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized account sharing.

MathCopy does not sell your data, does not use it for advertising, and does not send you marketing emails.

4. Sharing

MathCopy only shares data with partners that provide services to us (such as sign-in, payment processing, document processing, hosting and visit statistics), and only as far as needed to provide the service to you. These partners must protect the data under their own policies and the law. Beyond that, we only disclose data when the law requires it.

5. Storage and security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access. Account data is kept for as long as the account exists, or longer where the law requires it (e.g. payment records).

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your account and its data by emailing hotromathcopy@gmail.com or via Zalo at 0967 183 919. You can also revoke MathCopy's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Changes to this policy

MathCopy may update this policy. The latest version is always posted at https://mathcopy.com/en/privacy.
